

People at Aranya

Anandhi has been connected to Waldorf education since 1996. She co-founded Abhaya, Hyderabad and has been a class teacher and in-house mentor for long years. Presently, she trains and mentors new Waldorf initiatives and teachers across India. At Aranya, Anandhi is a founding member and mentor, planning and offering pedagogic and administrative guidance.

Abhinaya was a Waldorf student and did her high school at a Krishnamurti school. After teaching sociology at the undergraduate level for four years, she taught as a Waldorf class teacher for a brief period. She is a founding member of Aranya, and is involved with pedagogic and administrative support at the centre.

Mahi, who was most recently running a commercial vegan kitchen, has worked in diverse fields including the corporate sector and a brief stint in farming.
She has always felt a deep sense of connection with children and has in recent times been keen to deepen her understanding of young children and be involved with their learning and development. Mahi is the kindergarten teacher at Aranya.

Sirisha has been a kindergarten teacher at Abhaya for many years. She mentors kindergarten teachers in new Waldorf initiatives. She also works extensively with parents, providing guidance and parenting advice. At Aranya, she is the kindergarten mentor.

Keerthi, the youngest member of our team, works as support staff at Aranya. Joyous, caring and responsible, she is an integral part of the team.
